Unexpressed emotions and unresolved trauma do not just disappear. They live in your body as chronic tension. What once served as protection eventually becomes "armor," a physical barrier that disconnects you from your vitality and leaves you feeling stuck in old patterns.
Your body is a living record of everything you have survived. My approach uses somatic healing to safely meet and release these stored imprints. We do not just talk about the past. Instead, we work directly with the body's wisdom to release the pain from your tissues.
As the armor dissolves, you finally begin to come home to your true self. This is the path back to wholeness, allowing you to reclaim the freedom to live with an open heart and a clear purpose.

EMOTIONAL RELEASE THERAPY
The Emotional Release Session is a potent healing experience designed to address the "armor" where your history is held.
By combining conscious breathwork with deep acupressure, we meet the body at the level of its stored tension.
This process is intentionally intense.
As pressure is applied to specific points, it brings awareness to the exact locations where emotional pain and trauma have been "locked" in the tissues. By breathing consciously through this discomfort, you are supported in moving through the barrier of your resistance to release long-held blockages.
While the work is challenging, the result is a profound sense of lightness, emotional spaciousness, and a return to your natural state of freedom.
The session takes anywhere between
1 to 2 hours depending on what is needed and your personal resolve.
INTUITIVE HEALING MASSAGE
This is a gentle, full-body tantric massage that works with touch, breath, and presence to help you release shame and reconnect with your body. The session is slow and respectful, focusing entirely on creating a foundation of safety and acceptance.
With clear consent and therapeutic intention only, this work may include touch of intimate areas. The goal is to help you feel at ease in your skin, release what you have been holding, and restore a sense of wholeness. This session is specifically designed for those healing from shame, trauma, or a deep sense of disconnection from their sensuality.
Sessions are 60-120 minutes.

Yoga practices adapted as healing modalities to support your nervous system and reconnect you with embodied presence. Sessions draw from Hatha Vinyasa for grounding and strength, Yin for releasing deep tension, Nidra for profound rest and integration, Meditation for cultivating awareness and sense of control in your life, and Pranayama (breathwork) for regulating your nervous system and unlocking held energy. Each practice is tailored to where you are in your healing journey, honoring what your body needs. This work helps restore safety in your body and cultivate the inner space needed for transformation.

MOVEMENT & AWARENESS
This is an intuitive and adaptive bodywork session where I respond to what your system reveals in the moment. I draw from multiple massage techniques to work with the specific tensions and restrictions I sense in your tissues. Every touch is tailored to what you need right now.
This is a gentler and deeply pleasurable experience. It works beautifully as a standalone treatment or as a vital day of integration following an Emotional Release session. Most clients leave feeling a sense of spaciousness and renewed connection to their body. It is a time to let go of effort and return to your natural state of ease.
Sessions are 60-90 minutes.

Dharma coaching helps you move from living by obligation to living by calling. Drawing from Vedic philosophy and Ayurveda alongside modern inquiry, this work supports you in discovering your soul's true direction and uncovering your deeper purpose. This is for those who sense they have something meaningful to offer but lack clarity or courage to step forward, or who feel a persistent emptiness despite outward success. Together, we explore what your soul is calling you toward, not what others expect of you.
Sessions are conducted via Zoom or in person, typically 60-90 minutes.

I'm Maté, a somatic practitioner specializing in trauma release through bodywork, breathwork, and embodied awareness. My approach bridges Eastern spiritual traditions with Western somatic psychology, honoring both the wisdom in your tissues and the courage to meet what's stored there.
I hold 800 hours of trauma-informed yoga teacher training, with certifications in Bio-Massage Therapy and Emotional Blockage Treatment. My understanding comes from years of studying Alexander Lowen, Gabor Maté, Peter Levine, Carl Jung, and Lise Bourbeau, alongside Yogic and Ayurvedic wisdom.
My path to this work was shaped by my own healing journey. Through yoga, breathwork, meditation, and somatic release, I discovered firsthand how the body holds trauma and how it can be freed. What began as my own survival became my life's work.
While talk therapy moves from mind to body, lasting healing begins in the body itself. When we release what's been held with awareness and presence, the body remembers how to flow, and we remember who we are beneath the armor.
I work with people who are ready to meet themselves fully and discover a profound sense of freedom and meaning that lives on the other side of release.
